Atomium 3003

By Dave Stelfox

If you were a fan of Bungalow's quirky Japanese club-pop compilation, Sushi 3003, then this will be right up your street. Working along the same lines but fixing it's gaze on the European scene, Atomium 3003 takes a look at quirky pop gems unearthed around our very own continent. With molecular morsels from the likes of Sweden's Eggstone and France's Bertrand Bergalat, by way of The Crooner's wonderful Over The Rainbow and Le Mans' Zerbina, you are going to get your hands on a few rare beauties with this album. Atomium 3003 offers the chance to get in on the ground floor of a musical phenomenon that very few even know about yet and, in true Bungalow style, is a solid, well-constructed compilation, put together with love, care and attention to detail.
