Delsin draw together onto one CD the trio of messages that Detroit group Strand have put out, all previously only available on vinyl. The first message was transmitted on Anthony Shakir's Frictional imprint, while the second two were released on Delsin. All are musical and deep techno in the Detroit tradition as all three have been involved over there for more than ten years. Sweet strings, plaintive melodies and careful rhythms are the order of the day here as Strand provide an up to date take on classic soulful techno. You also get two bonus new tracks: the piano-led house of Deep Knobs and the old school sounding, tweaky acid pounding of Isotope 311. Clocking in at 76 minutes length, this is definitely worthwhile for anyone who doesn't yet have these tunes on vinyl.
